Abstract:
The goal of this presentation is to show the psychometric properties of Polish version of Job Crafting Questionnaire (Slemp, Vella-Brodrick, 2013). Job crafting is defined as the self-initiated changes that employees make in their own job. The questionnaire consists of three subscales: task crafting, cognitive crafting and relational crafting. Analysis were performed on a set of multiple samples (total N = 885). Hierarchical factor analysis (CFA) supported the three-factor structure with higher-order factor of the questionnaire in accordance with the theoretical concept of job crafting. Cronbach’s α coefficients range from 0.77 to 0.85 in subscales and 0.86 to 0.88 for the overall scale depending on the sample. The stability of the tool was confirmed by the test-retest method. Correlations with other psychological measures provided evidence for the theoretical validity. Good psychometric properties were confirmed.
