Abstract:
Wojciszke and Baryła argue that the evaluation of one’s own morality has a minimal impact on his or her global self-esteem. I suggest that the empirical evidence presented by the authors may be interpreted in a different way. In my opinion, a positive evaluation of one’s own morality is necessary for a human being to obtain a high level of global self-esteem.
