Abstract:
The article presents results of studies with 182 economically active persons. The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between the level of entrepreneurial activities, attitude towards work, and the subjective perception of the severity of occupational stress. Additionally, we tested whether participants with different professional functions, micro – entrepreneurs and workers employed under an employment contract, would differ in the studied variables. Significant correlations were found between the studied variables as well as differences between the groups. Micro-entrepreneurs were characterized by a higher level of a hedonic-autotelic attitude towards work and higher levels of entrepreneurship, while full-time employees exhibited a higher level of overall stress.
